The Balance 750 has officially launched, marking a bold new chapter in luxury performance catamaran sailing

Balance Catamarans has introduced its largest model to date, the Balance 750, launched recently in Cape Town in July. At just over 23 metres, this new flagship is designed to combine performance with practical comfort.

A Build Focused on Efficiency

The Balance 750 is constructed using epoxy E-glass with added carbon reinforcement in key areas. This approach keeps the weight lower than many boats of similar size, at around 30 tonnes, which supports both speed and durability.

Sailing Performance

The yacht has been designed to deliver steady performance in different wind conditions. In light winds, it can move at or near wind speed. In stronger conditions, it is capable of reaching over 20 knots. A self-tacking jib comes standard, while downwind sail options are available for owners who want more flexibility.

Helm Choices

The 750 offers three helm options, giving sailors control from multiple positions. These include a forward cockpit helm, a fixed portside helm, and the VersaHelm® on the starboard side, which can pivot depending on conditions. Owners can also decide whether they prefer an open flybridge or a fully enclosed version.

Interior Design

Inside, the yacht has been finished by Design Unlimited, a UK studio known for its custom yacht work. The interior features practical layouts with handmade furniture and wood veneers, focusing on function while maintaining a modern look.

The Balance 750 adds to the brand’s expanding range, which now includes models from 46 feet to 75 feet. Recent additions such as the 580 series, along with upcoming 502 and 464 models, show the company’s effort to cover a wide spectrum of sailing needs.
