10-year growth roadmap developed
The BASCO Board of Directors gave the green light for the company's growth strategy recently, following a 1-year branding & positioning consultancy project undertaken in 2021, then a 9-month strategy transformation project with consultants BDO, which is completing shortly.
Supported by Enterprise Singapore, BASCO has been awarded two government grants to undertake the consultancy projects.
Dione Schick, co-founder and CEO of BASCO said of the two projects:
"Both projects have been very important strategic milestones in the company's development. While we started the business in 2017 by bringing Online Boat Auctions to Asia, the BASCO vision of being a comprehensive Boat Advisory Services Co to the entire boating community, has relentlessly been built in the background over the last 5-years.
After building out the most comprehensive range of services for boating enthusiasts, it was time to position the company and its platforms in the market, as well as take stock of what had been achieved to date, find new areas of opportunity, then to focus and pull it all together in a coherent plan that the BASCO management can execute going forward.
I'm very happy with the two projects and really appreciate the dedication and hard work that's been put in by our talented consultants over the last 2-years. And a big thanks to Enterprise Singapore for supporting the BASCO vision, we couldn't have done it without you."
