CRN has officially delivered its latest masterpiece, the 67-metre superyacht Amor à Vida, which is now making its way through the Mediterranean on its inaugural journey. Formerly referred to as Project Maranello, the yacht was handed over to its owner in early May after completing sea trials and final checks at CRN’s Ancona shipyard.
Crafted from a blend of steel and aluminium, Amor à Vida stretches across six decks and features a generous beam of 11.8 metres. With a gross tonnage of 1450 GT, the yacht showcases an impressive combination of size, performance, and luxury. The design and construction were led by the Ferretti Group Superyachts Division Engineering team, while the exterior lines and interior style come from renowned design studio Nuvolari Lenard, working in close collaboration with interior specialist Valentina Zannier.
Onboard, the superyacht offers an elegant and versatile layout, accommodating up to 12 guests. The arrangement includes a spacious owner’s suite located on the upper deck, a full-beam VIP stateroom on the main deck that can be divided into two separate cabins, and five additional guest suites on the lower deck.
Moran Yacht & Ship represented the owner throughout the build process, overseeing the project with responsibilities ranging from technical evaluations to subcontractor management. Their involvement helped ensure the yacht met the precise technical and aesthetic standards envisioned at the start of the project.
One of Amor à Vida's standout features is its hybrid propulsion system, engineered to enhance fuel efficiency and overall comfort. Powered by two MTU 12V4000 M63 engines delivering 1500kW at 1800rpm, the vessel is compliant with IMO Tier III emissions standards. It offers a cruising speed of 15 knots and can reach a top speed of 16 knots.
Additionally, the yacht incorporates a smart heat recovery system, which optimises energy use by repurposing excess heat. This system ensures consistent hot water supply for pools and onboard plumbing, contributing to lower operational costs and energy efficiency.
The successful delivery of Amor à Vida reflects the synergy between CRN’s shipyard, the design teams, and the owner’s project managers—all of whom played vital roles in bringing this fully custom superyacht to life.
