The Chinese electric outboard startup ePropulsion has expanded its R&D center in Shanghai, China. The company's new facility will focus on the development of high-power electric propulsion systems.

It will enhance our expertise in system research and development, design, and integration, which will be key to unlocking the potential of the high-power boat market and the market for hybrid solutions.”
The new center will allow EPropulsion to continue its work on developing high-power electric propulsion systems, as well as other advanced technologies such as smart grid and autonomous vehicles.
The systems developed in the Shanghai R&D Centre will be designed to connect to and integrate with the Internet of Boats (IoB) and assistive technology for boat autonomous driving solutions that are currently being developed at the company’s Hong Kong and Shenzhen centres.
