2 people died in equipment-related diving incidents in S'pore in 2024
Two commercial divers died in equipment-related diving incidents in Singapore last year, said the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) in a Feb. 6 Facebook post. The divers had used recreational equipment instead of the required commercial diving equipment. Unlike the commercial equipment, recreational equipment does not contain enhanced safety features, such as a continuous air supply from the surface.
