Crafted by Taiwan’s Horizon Yachts in partnership with designer Cor D. Rover, the FD80 Hull 15 boasts a striking exterior and a voluminous interior layout.
Horizon Yachts is all set to make a bold impression in Europe with the debut of its FD80 Hull 15 at the prestigious 2025 Cannes and Monaco Yacht Shows. This marks the first time the FD80 model will be introduced to the European market, showcasing the brand’s hallmark blend of space, design innovation, and style in a compact superyacht.
Crafted by Taiwan’s Horizon Yachts in partnership with designer Cor D. Rover, the FD80 Hull 15 boasts a striking exterior and a voluminous interior layout. Soft curves, light bleached teak, brushed gunmetal finishes, and rich textures create a warm minimalist vibe that brings attention to light, space, and flow throughout the vessel.
One of the standout features of the yacht’s exterior is the full-height windows that line the profile, complemented by sleek horizontal lines that add a sense of dynamism. Architectural folds on the yacht’s surfaces play with natural light, creating an ever-changing ambiance throughout the day. Topping off the design is a stylish anthracite grey radar mast that draws the eye on the Skyline model’s silhouette.
Step aboard, and the main deck aft welcomes you with a versatile six-seater dining area complete with refrigeration units and an ice maker, perfect for entertaining. A Besenzoni hydraulic passerelle, extending up to 560cm, offers convenient dockside access.
Inside, the space opens up with floor-to-ceiling glass doors revealing a seamless salon, dining, and galley layout. A 65-inch TV anchors the entertainment zone, while the galley, equipped with a central island and bar stools, encourages casual meals and conversation.
The FD80 Hull 15 includes four en suite staterooms. The full-beam master suite on the main deck features a custom curved headboard, smart storage, and another 65-inch Frame TV. The ensuite master bath, inspired by the FD90’s luxurious fittings, comes with dual vanities and a refined finish.
Downstairs, guests can enjoy three ensuite cabins: two spacious VIP rooms to port and starboard, and a forward VIP that can be configured as either a V-berth or a double. This deck also houses a laundry area equipped with a washer, dryer, and ironing board for added convenience.
The crew quarters are located aft of the engine room and designed to house four crew members. They connect directly to the beach club, offering seamless movement and functionality.
For performance, the yacht is powered by twin MTU engines delivering 1,600hp each, plenty for smooth and efficient cruising.
The enclosed wheelhouse comes with three helm chairs, an L-shaped seating arrangement, a raised dinette, and a dayhead. Moving forward, the bow area is designed for relaxation with U-shaped seating and plush sun pads.
On the bridge deck, the Skylounge merges effortlessly with the aft area to create a large social space. There’s an arc-shaped sofa, a teppanyaki bar, a 43-inch pop-up TV, and a wine cabinet. For those who love luxury, a Jacuzzi takes center stage on the aft deck, with optional lounge seating and awnings offering even more comfort.
With its blend of performance, luxury, and smart design, the FD80 Hull 15 is more than just a yacht, it’s Horizon’s bold step into the European spotlight.
