MS Marine Europe Launches High-Volume Mould Production Facility in Hungary

MS Marine Europe has officially commenced full-scale plug and mould production from its state-of-the-art facility in Budapest, Hungary. Designed to support high-volume manufacturing needs, the operation is set to become a strategic partner for boat builders and shipyards across Europe and beyond.

At the heart of the new facility is one of the largest CNC milling machines in its class — measuring an impressive 20 metres long, 7.5 metres wide, and 3.9 metres high. This advanced equipment allows for the precision machining of complex plugs and moulds on a large scale, ensuring consistency and efficiency for every client.

MS Marine Europe specialises in composite tooling solutions for hulls, decks, and superstructures. The production process is fully compatible with vacuum infusion, hand lay-up, and prepreg techniques, catering to a broad spectrum of marine manufacturing needs. A strong emphasis is placed on dimensional accuracy, fast turnaround, and premium surface quality.

All moulds are constructed using high-performance materials such as vinylester resins, Maxguard tooling gelcoats, woven roving, chopped strand mat (CSM) fibres, and foam core in structural areas.
