Indonesia’s First International-Standard Yacht Marina Begins Construction
PT Marina Development Indonesia (MDI) and Pelindo have signed a contract marking the start of construction on Indonesia’s first full-service marina built to international standards. Located at the Bali Maritime Tourism Hub (BMTH) in Benoa, the marina will feature 180 wet berths, with over 50 capable of accommodating superyachts up to 90 metres in length.

The Benoa Marina in Southern Bali is now open and looking forward to welcoming superyachts once the Indonesian borders reopen. It was built by a subsidiary of the government docking company PPI Marina (Pelindo Property Investments). After years of being a concept, the marina’s official opening was in January 2020.
