Diesel engines are known for their fuel efficiency, consuming 30-50% less fuel than traditional gasoline outboards. This makes them a cost-effective and reliable choice for long-distance boating, especially for commercial and military applications.

To gain deeper insights into the growing popularity and impact of diesel outboard motors, we sat down with Hugh Hudleston, Head of Sales at COX Powertrain, and Eugene Cheong, Head of Strategy and Business Development at Tractors and Machinery International. Our discussion delves into what diesel outboard motors are, and why they are shaping the future of the boating industry.

The Worst Ways to Sell Your Boat

One of the biggest mistakes boat sellers make is overpricing their boat, which drives away potential buyers and leads to long delays in selling. Many also fall into the trap of relying on a "friend of a friend" to find a buyer, often resulting in wasted time, last-minute cancellations, or even scams. Another common misstep is listing a boat online and then neglecting it, allowing the listing to get buried while missing potential inquiries. If you've made any of these mistakes, it's time to switch to a reliable approach.
